"I came in to do some studying and the lattes were amazing. A great place to sit out on the patio or inside with lots of seating and outlets for laptops. The staff were all so kind and went above and beyond to make your experience great. Such a great addition to the community and I will definitely be back!"

"I told the baristas today: Candid is my favourite coffee in Edmonton, but honestly it’s my favourite coffee in Canada. I always get a cappuccino, and today my wife got a matcha latte with oat milk. Full marks on the matcha preparation, and the beverage was delicious. I feel like the service has been very professional every time. The baristas are efficient and good at their craft. I don’t usually get food, but the sweets I’ve tried were lovely."

"It's a cozy shop to meet for coffee. I've only been there once, but the staff were friendly and helpful and the peppermint mocha was delightful! The flavors were balanced well. Inside I was waiting for a friend and the staff gave me a heads up to get a table since there was only one left at the time. I'll definitely suggest it to others!"

"This is their second location. Warm atmosphere, ample seating, incredible staff and delicious drinks and food. The best thing about this location is how you can sit at the window and observe people walk or drive by. I went there and ordered myself an Iced Vanilla Latte. They were quick however I didn’t receive my order for 10 minutes. When I informed them, they brought out my coffee in less than 2 minutes, upgraded my preferred cup size and also gave me a free cookie. They were so warm and hospitable. Loved the inviting ambience. Will visit again! What I tried - Iced Vanilla Latte- 8.5/10 - Raspberry White Chocolate Macadamia Cookie- 9/10"

"Candids team is hospitable, kind, and outgoing. While this location is a different pace of life than the roaster, they still foster an environment of connection and community approach at the highlands location. While I still have yet to try all their sandwiches, I loved the bagel with cowboy cream cheese. I love the fruitier coffee and their iced mocha is a perfect on a hot day. The patio is a really nice place to meet with friends & family. Stoked to see a local business grow"

"Very good coffee! We tried one of their funkier espressos and their Ethiopian drip coffee. I haven't been to their other location, but was told they do pour overs at that café not this one. The staff were very friendly and gave us a wonderful experience. My friend said the espresso he tried here was better than the one he had at the Colombian the day before"
